NVIDIA vGPU 제품별 Type 과 사양 정리

NVIDIA 의 GRID 제품은 과거 GRID K1, K2 로 나누어진다. GRID K1, K2 의 경우 별도의 NVIDIA vGPU 라이선스 없이 사용이 가능했다.

근래 M, P, V 시리즈의 경우 Tesla 코드명으로 다 통합되었고, GRID vGPU 와 GPGPU 용도 중 하나를 선택해서 사용 가능하다.

단, GRID vGPU 용도로 사용할 경우에는 NVIDIA vGPU 관련 라이선스를 별도로 구매해야 한다.

아래는 M, P, V 제품별 vGPU 규격 정보와 사양 정보이다.

제품 규격명은 <GPU제품명>-<allocated_gpu_memory>_<Q|B|A> 이다.

마지막의 Q, B, A 의 의미는

Q : 무거운 3D 그래픽 전용 작업, 파워유저

B : 가벼운 3D 그래픽 작업, 파워유저

A : XenAPP, RDHS 형태의 원격 접속 세션에서 사용가능한 vGPU

라고 보면 된다. 즉, 매우 무거운 3D 작업을 위해서는 Q 이니셜이 붙는 형태로 vGPU 를 구성해야 한다.
