Xeon Gold 6240 vs AMD EPYC 7542 사양 비교
최근 AMD 서버 프로세서인 EPYC 시리즈의 성능 요청이 다소 있어 테스트 중입니다. cache memory 가 128M 란 내용을 보고..기대를 많이 했는데..
L3 cache 였네요.. L1, L2 는 여전히..KB 단위이네요. 아무튼..테스트 해보기 위해 사양 비교표를 찾다가 관련 내용이 있어 저장해 둡니다.
성능은 지금 테스트 중인데, VASP 으로 병렬 계산을 해보니..그냥 계산 중간 중간 time 측정한 내용으로 보아 AMD EPYC 7542 가 Xeon Gold 6240 보다
2배 정도 떨어지네요. 역시 다중 코어의 병렬 처리에서 L1, L2 는 무시 못하나 봅니다.
근대..디스크 성능은 이상하게 만큼..AMD 가 좋게 나오네요. SSD 일 경우 보통 500MB/s 정도 인데..AMD 의 경우는 1.8GB/s 정도 나오네요.
이 부분은 면밀히 체크해 봐야 할듯 합니다.
현재까지는 간단히 감 잡는 수준으로 체크하는 지라..
